University School of Management Studies - GGSIPU University, Delhi, is a constituent school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, was established in 1999 and managed by Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
The school was previously located at the Kasmere Gate Campus of the University. It has now shifted to the new West Campus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University at Dwarka.
The school at present is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and it is recognized and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A+" Grade.
The aim of the school is to focus on education and research, entrepreneurship and innovation also offering training oriented towards producing highly qualified practitioners and researchers.
It is a co-educational private. school, providing regular courses in which is located in the urban part of Delhi played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The school conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government.
The school also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under the affiliating university.
The school has been rated one amongst the top fifty private B-schools in India and received the 35th rank among top 10 B-School in the NIRF.
At present, the school offers Management courses at postgraduate levels by offering various specializations under the affiliating university and offers programs leading to an award of Ph.D. in various disciplines.
The school offers two-year full-time M.M.S, two-year part-time D.M.S, three-year masters’ part-time programs and other one-year diploma programs.
The school offers a full-time MBA program, doctoral programs, as well as many other management programmes.
Students are admitted to postgraduate courses on basis of their Common Entrance Test (CAT) test scores which is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University on an annual basis.
The school has its also own selection process unlike other colleges under affiliating University. The institute has an online application process where prospective applicants are expected to fill in their interests and academic achievements.
Admissions here done are based on the merit obtained by the aspirants with the minimum aggregate of 50% in their previous courses in the relevant field.
