University School of Law and Legal Studies was established in 2001 and it is a constituent unit of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
It was the first University Law School established in the vicinity of the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, various subordinate courts, commissions, tribunals and various monitoring offices of national and international voluntary organizations.
The main objective of the college was to run five years integrated professional law courses and to serve as an institution of advanced legal studies.
Admissions are made on the basis of Common Entrance Test and the intake every year is 60. It also offers LLM, PhD and Post Doctoral research facilities in law as well.
