Ultra College of Engineering and Technology for Women, Madurai was established in 2009.

The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

The college UCETW is the sixth educational institution started by Prof.K.R.Arumugam, founder chairman of ULTRA Trust Madurai.

It is the first women's engineering college in the temple city Madurai for empowering the women to contribute the best for the growth of global economy. Also it is the one & only engineering college that offers mechanical engineering course exclusively for women in Tamilnadu.
