The institute is affiliated to R T M Nagpur University and recognised by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi.

It has been a powerful force in management education since its inception in 1994. The Institute offers various UG and PG programmes in the field of business management.

The Institute has a bouquet of valuable resources such as most committed faculty, state of the art infrastructure in the heart of India, well equipped and updated computer centre, rich resources in terms of books, journals and magazines and students of exceptional intelligence and ability-but few perceptions.

The Institute has been ranked 9th on ROI and 61st overall in All India Best B-School Survey 2010 conducted by 'Outlook'.

It is the only Institute in Central India to be graded "A" for four consecutive years by 'Business India'.
