The Oxford College of Business Management, Bengaluru, is a constituent college of the Oxford Educational Institutions, was established in 1994 renowned as a premier management institute in India and managed by Children's Education Society.

The journey of The Oxford Group of Institutions started with just two teachers and twenty-four students. Today, the 32 vibrant institutions team with 18000 students and 2500 faculty members in the common pursuit of success.

The college is affiliated with Bangalore University, Bengaluru and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is also recognized and approved by All India Council For Technical Education, New Delhi and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (1st Cycle) on 21st April 2012.

The aim of the college is to offer education in such a way as to sensitize the students to the needs of the community and facilitate their overall development. 

It is a co-educational private college providing regular courses in which is located in the urban part of Bengaluru played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government.

The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under the Bangalore University, Bengaluru.

The MBA students (2009-2011 batch) & (2010-2012 batch) of the college have secured two University Ranks out of the five ranks declared by the University.

At present, the college offers three years undergraduate and two years postgraduate courses in Commerce and Management stream with various specializations under the Bangalore University, Bengaluru. It also offers Post Graduate Diploma courses.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the Bangalore University, Bengaluru and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

The admission criteria for the college is strictly based on Merit and Written Test.
