The Oxford College of Arts, Bengaluru Urban was established in 2006. It is one of the constituent parts of The Oxford Group of Educational Institutions which was established in the year 1974 under the aegis of Children’s Education Society (R) and has gone on to become a centre of excellence in education for students, not just from India but from different parts of the globe.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated to Bangalore University, Bengaluru and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
Started in the year 2006, with just one combination of the BA programme, the college now runs three combinations of the BA programme and two postgraduate programmes.
The college is committed to a quality education for students in excelling them to face challenges in the world also provided courses of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The college has been active in conducting various co-curricular activities to enhance the knowledge of students. Guest Lectures by eminent personalities from various fields are invited to enrich the students with their talents.
The Oxford College of Arts welcomes students to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of BA, MA Journalism and Mass Communication and Master of Social Work (MSW).
