The Technological Institute of Textiles & Sciences, Bhiwani was established in 1943.

The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and accredited by AICTE.

The Institute was born in the fog of the Second World War in 1943 out of its vision of the great entrrepreneur and visionary Padma Vibhushan Dr. Ghanshyam Sas Birla under hte auspices of the Birla Education Trust.

Presently, the Institute is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak for all its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. All the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes are duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Govt. of Haryana. The Institute is also an approved centre for Doctoral Research leading to award of Ph.D. Degree under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology of the affiliating University.
