Taradevi Harakhchand Kankaria Jain College, Kolkata was established in 2006.

The college is affiliated to Calcutta University.

The aim of the college is to impart holistic education, enabling the students to succeed in choosing and achieving their career and educational goals and encourages its students to participate in various activities that are happening at the college.

For the intellectual cultivation of young minds, the college is always considered healthy that students are encouraged to dialogue. Students from all the departments enthusiastically participated and the points given in favor and against the motion were praiseworthy.

The college not only showcased the confident young students but also helped a few students to boost their confidence by being able to speak in extempore.
