Takshashila Degree College, Vikarabad was established in 2002. It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade.

Rules and regulations of the college:

  • Strict and absolute silence shall be observed in the Library
  • Cell Phones to be switched off inside the college premises
  • Seats will be allotted using a software developed by CGG
  • Your seat allotment will be intimated to you through SMS to your registered mobile number. You can log in to your dost account and take a print out of your allotment
  • Conformation & Rules of admission after allotment of seats. You can confirm your admission by visiting the concerned degree college and the college will verify your certificates
  • You have to pay your college admission fees. The principal of the college will confirm your admission by issuing a printed slip
  • The students must keep all their originals ready before joining the college
  • Report to the college by 20th June 2016 for confirming your admission
  • Furnishing any false information will forefiet the admission

  • The college has well-equipped with all modern facilities and full-fledged spacious library with a huge reading room and library is constantly augmented with new books
  • classrooms are well ventilated, spacious, equipped with overhead and LCD projectors long with public address system with proper arrangements of Laptop power supply
  • All the Classrooms are provided with one feet high stage for the teachers to deliver their content by maintaining eye-contact with each and every student
  • The spacious library sprawls over a vast area and the catalogues possess thousands of volumes & titles. The library subscribes to more than 50 International and National journals and has also access to scores of e-journals
  • The spaces in the conference halls have been designed with good acoustic systems and ambiance
  • All the labs and workshop have been constructed and equipped in accordance with AICTE and Higher Education norms
  • The playground located on the west side of the college which can host a wide range of games like Cricket, Football and an Athletic Track. The play ground has a pitch with nets for cricket practice. IPGDC has an indoor sports complex for games like Table Tennis, Carroms Chess etc.
  • Institution is equipped with a large canteen meant for having snacks and tea during break hour and also for taking break fast and lunch
  • The college has its own fleet of buses operating from many points in the city of Hyderabad and the suburbs.In the name of our institution, nearly 10 buses are running from various places for the welfare and development of the students. Buses will take the students and faculties from different areas and make them to reach the college in time
