Swami Kalyan Dev Government Ayurvedic College (SKDGAC), Muzaffarnagar was established in 1978. The college is affiliated to the Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The college is governed and run by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the prominent Ayurveda colleges in the country. It is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The college is recognized by the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Swami Kalyandeo Government Ayurvedic College Muzaffarnagar imparts an undergraduate course Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The course is a five-and-half-year program. The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
