Sunrise College of Education, Nowgong (Dist. Chhatarpur) was established in 2009 and managed by Late DAU Sardar Singh Smriti Public Trust.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with State University Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.

It is also recognized & approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi to offer B.Ed. course.

The college aim was committed to helping all students with a desire to excel in their pursuit of the acquisition of new skills and specialized knowledge necessary to emerge as the super achiever of the 21st century to make the nation great.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Chhatarpur played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, and Science streams with various specializations and offers two years postgraduate course in Master of Commerce with various specializations under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

Admissions here also done through Govt. of M.P. online portal by the Department of Higher Education M.P. and hence gives a transparent and fair method of admission.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Sunrise College of Education, Nowgong in its various departments.
