Stella Mary’s College of Education, Sivagiri was established in 2006.

The College is managed under David Raja Singh Educational & Charitable trust by Stella Mary’s Group of Institution.

The Trust started in 1940 with objective to develop and foster excellence in the field of education by organizing and encouraging competitions among different high schools, College of Education and Teacher Training Institute.

The Stella Mary’s Group of Institution is ideally located on the Madurai Quilon Main Road.

The Institution has established excellent infrastructure including modern Computer Lab, well equipped library in addition to LCD Projector and Video Conference facility.

The College is approved by NCTE and affiliated by TNTEU.

Stella Mary’s Teacher Training institute for women was established in 2005 with 50 students.
