Star Lion College of Education, Thanjavur was managed under S.Govindaraj Srimathi Renganayaki And Sri Sriramulu Educational and Public Charitable Trust (Regd).

The College offers one year Bachelor Of Education (B.Ed.,). The College ensures that every trainee by this programme achieve academic excellence, professional competence and commitment to serve the community.

Founder and Chairman Thiru.S.Govindaraj who is determined to serve the cause for the Higher Education with devoted dedication, commitments and outstanding creativity started Srimathi Renganayaki And Sri Sriramulu Educational and Public Charitable Trust (Regd) in 1999.

The Trust had been duly registered. The Trust encourages the outstanding students by awarding prizes. The Trust also appraises the dedication of staff members and honours them duly.

The institute is established in 2006 is recognized by NCTE and affiliated by Tamilnadu Teachers Education University. The institute is located in the residential area and 3.88.25 acres of land and 19,791 sq.ft building with very peacful and safe environment.

The Institute is now offering B.Ed (2 year) with intake of 50 students per year in the Optional subject., Tamil,English, Maths,Physical Sciences, Bio-logical sciences, History and Computer Science.
