St.Xavier's College for Women, Aluva was established in 1964 with four batches of pre-degree classes with a total strength of 238 students and 22 members of the teaching staff.

St.Xavier's College for Women was raised to the status of a degree College in 1968.

St.Xavier College aims at the formation of young women enabling them to live a richer life fulfilling their individual and social responsibilities.

Vision and Mission:

To uplift the educational, social, cultural, and vocational status of women by empowering them with academic excellence, personality development, and spiritual enlightenment.

The Objective of the college is to enable the students to grow into substantial self-reliant and subtle womanhood with all the values of our culture and traditions along with highly adventurons, creative and avant - garde outlook in their lives.
