St. Peter & Ghattamaneni Krishna (SPGK) College of Education, Guntur was established in 2002 and run by Mother Therisha Memorial Educational Society.

The college has a pleasant environment with academic atmosphere and well-equipped with all modern facilities. St.Peter & G.Krishna College of Education is one of the oldest colleges of Education in Kosta region.

The college is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

SPGK College is started with the motto of making ideal teachers. As a profession it is important to ensure that teaching has strong professional leadership that sets clear standards of entry, profession and professional accountability. Such professional leadership must be owned by the profession to improve qualify and status of the teaching work fore. College endeavors to maintain a student friendly environment to provide quality education and prepare professional youth sensitive to human need.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at R.L.N.Dora College of Education in its various departments.
