St. Mary's College of Education, Secunderabad was established in 2007, A Catholic Minority Institution run by Hyderabad Archdiocese Educational Society. It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college is located in the heart of Secunderabad set on a beautiful campus, the college is a harmonious blend of open spaces and built environment. The college is well connected to the different parts of twin cities it is only half kilometer away from Secunderabad Railway Station.

The college offers students an ideal environment to explore their creative and learning abilities The Archdiocese of Hyderabad runs its Educational institutes under the banner of “HYDERABAD ARCHDIOCESE EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY”.

This society runs 17 high schools, three junior colleges, two degree colleges, one P.G college of MCA & MBA, one B-pharmacy college and one B-ED college. The society has a long history in running education institution since 1885 based on Christian and human values.

Candidates who have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized University are eligible to apply this programme.

The institute has well maintained library with wide range of books collection and journals.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at St. Mary's College of Education, Secunderabad in its various departments.
