SSM College of Arts and Science (SSMCAS), Komarapalayam was established in 2006.

"Gnanathandhai" S.S.M. Subramaniam, the founder of SSM Group of Educational Institutions, built up an industrial conglomerate through his untiring efforts. SSM College of Arts & Science brings to fruition his visionary, zeal to impart topnotch education to the community.
