Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences, Bangalore was established in the year 2003-04 and offers Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, B.Sc(N) & M.Sc(N) programme from the year 2009.

These courses are recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery examination Board, Karnataka Nursing council and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.

Mission and Vision:

To acquire Knowledge and develop skills and attitudes necessary for planning and carrying out comprehensive nursing care for sick persons of all age groups in the hospital or community.

To acquire knowledge and understanding of the basic principles underlying the techniques and methods used in Nursing.

To develop the ability to think and act independently and to accept responsibility as an individual, a nurse and a citizen.
