Sri Mahesh Prasad Degreee College, Lucknow was established in 2003 and affliated to Chattrapati Shahu Ji Mahraj University, Kanpur.

To develop education in rural areas the society Vidya Bharti Shiksha Sansthan, Lucknow was established in 1991 in presidentship of Late Sri Mahesh Prasad Maurya. The society established Sri Mahesh Prasad Degreee College, Lucknow for co-education and Sri Mahesh Prasad Maurya Girls Inter College, Lucknow.

Sri Mahesh Prasad Degree College, Lucknow was established in 2003 and associated with Lucknow University in faculty of B.A. (Hindi, English, Sociology, Economics, Home science, History and Education), B.Com. and B.Ed..The University Grants Commission (UGC), India, has recognised the college under section 2(F) in year 2009.

To develop an extension of extension of education in rural areas, the society vidya Bharti Shiksha Sansthan founded and registered in 1991 in the chairmanship of Sri. Mahesh Prasad Maurya. The society established Sri. Mahesh Prasad Degree College, in village Bindoa, Post Mohanlalganj, Lucknow (U.P.) for Co-educaton and Sri. Mahesh Prasad Girls Inter College at village and post Samesi, Lucknow (U.P.).

Sri Mahesh Prasad Degree Mohanlalganj, Lucknow got affiliation from Chhatrapati Shahi Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur in faculty of arts with subjec in Hindi, English, History, Sociology, education and Home Science in year of 2003. In the year 2007 a commerce faculty established and affiiated to CSJM University, Meerut.
