Sree Arumugham Teacher Training Institute, Tholudur was established in 2001.

SREE ARUMUGHAM TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE (B.ED) incepted in the academic year 2005-2006 by "Kalvikavalar" Thiru. A.Krishnaswami, M.A., B.Ed., is the another feather in the cap of Arumugham Sornam Mudhaliyar Educational Trust in 1992. SREE ARUMUGHAM TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE is located near Tholudur with a beautiful ambiance and with all required infrastructural facilities like Educational Technology lab, seminar halls, well equipped library, psychology lab, multipurpose hall and advanced A.V aids and well equipped lecture halls, etc.,

Its managed by philanthropic and charitable Arumuga Mudhaliar Sornam Educational Trust,Tittagudi. The Institution was approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The Institute is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Institute offers two years Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.). The Institute ensures that every trainee by this programme achieve academic excellence, professional competence and commitment to serve the community.
