SNGM Arts and Science College (SNGMASC), Alappuzha was established in 1950.

It is a self financing institution affiliated to the University of Kerala.

The college is managed by Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Educational and Cultural Trust, which is a non-profit organization formed to live and celebrate the memory of the social reformer Sree Narayana Guru.

It has emerged as a leader in the unaided sector of education in the state.

The students are provided a multi disciplinary campus that adds liveliness to the student life and caters to the expansion of quality, and the educational experience of the student.
