Sneha College of Teacher Education, Palakkad was established in 1975.

It is one of the constituent parts of Sneha Teacher Educational Institutions.

The teacher training institute is affiliated to University of Calicut, Malappuram. Sneha College of Teacher Education is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes for teacher’s training Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed).

Sneha College of Teacher Education has number of modern facilities to ensure smooth conduct of its courses within the campus.

The aspirants are selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination and performances in the interview.
