Smt. R.M. Prajapati Arts College, Satlasana was established on 29th June 1996 and built up with the help of a donor & management of Shri Babulal Punachand Shah VidhyaSankul, Satlasana.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is located at Satlasana in Mehsana district of Gujarat State. The whole area is surrounded by beautiful Aravalli range which is known as the Gadhavada. The college has become the educational hub in Gadhavada area.

The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 2(B) on 17th October 2008 under Act, 1956. The UGC declared as a College with Potential for Excellence.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.51 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 5th March 2009.

The subjects offered here are English, Sanskrit, Gujarati, Hindi and Sociology as main subjects; as well as Sanskrit, Gujarati, Hindi, and Sociology as subsidiary subjects.

Besides Arts College, the trust manages Kamalaba Technical Institute, Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad - Study Centre’, A Computer Training Centre and A Language Laboratory.

The college has obtained excellent results in university examinations.The college takes active participation in co-extra curricular activities and has retained topmost performances in cultural activities held at the university level.

A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
