Smt. P.N.R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Bhavnagar was established on 27th June 1994 and is one of the very old well-established colleges of Bhavnagar district.

It is one of the oldest & premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to M.K. Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

This college is conducted by Shree Palitana Education Society. It aims at imparting knowledge from pre-primary to higher education.

The Institution is the only granted girl’s college, providing free education in 60 km surrounding area. The Institution provides admission to each and every eligible girl's students.

The institution runs within the framework of the rules and regulations formulated by the University and State Government of Gujarat.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts & Commerce stream under M.K. Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar.
