Smt. Maniben M. P. Shah Women’s College of Arts & Commerce, Mumbai was established in 1957 managed under Seva Mandal Education Society (SMES).
SMES are proud to state that their Smt. Maniben M. P. Shah Women’s College is the first in the city of Mumbai to be affiliated to S.N.D.T. Women’s University.
From a single medium (Gujarati) and Single faculty (BA) and 7 students Smt. Maniben M. P. Shah Women’s College have now grown qualitatively and quantitatively to a multi medium, multi disciplinary institution with 1600 students.
The basic mission of Smt. Maniben M. P. Shah Women’s College is providing education for living and for making a living to girl students, irrespective of their economic, social and academic backgrounds.
