Smt. C.C. Mahila Arts & Sheth C.N.Commerce College, Visnagar was established in 1964 under the management of Shree Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Kelavani Mandal Sanchalit.

It is located at Visnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat state. Visnagar is known as the copper city. College is affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan.

The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.17 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 5th May 2014.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses & two years postgraduate courses in Arts & Commerce stream under Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan.

The college also has a Contact Centre of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad for UG, PG, Certificate & Add-on courses.

A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
