SKM College of Education, Kashmir was started functioning of imparting B.Ed Education in 2004.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

The College has a spacious building, rich library containing books on each subject pertaining to teacher education.

It has an auditorium fitted with public address system and audio visual aids like CTV, Projector, and V.C.R etc. Computer laboratory is fitting with computers.

J&K MPMES Society was established in 2002 and is registered with J&K Govt.
