Shri & Smt. P.K. Kotawala Arts College, Patan was establishment was established in 1959 under the management of North Gujarat Education Society, Patan which was registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Hemachandracharyan North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.50 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 21st February 2014.

It has been one of the most famous colleges in the region catering to the diversified needs of the students of North Gujarat. Since Inception the college has made fabulous progress and has been achieving new landmarks every year.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses, two years postgraduate courses & two years Ph.D. courses in Arts stream under Hemachandracharyan North Gujarat University, Patan.

  • The college has a large playground with will-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on.

  • A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus.
  • The institute provides the training facility like- face to face interview, resume making, communication skills, that help the students to face the campus recruitment.
  • For every course, the college imparts practical training to its students that helps them to understand better, improve their demonstrative skills, eliminate hesitation and in this process strives to mold them into industry ready professionals.
