Shri Sai Mahavidyalaya, Vindhyanagar (Dist. Singrauli) was established on 11th August 1998 and managed by Sai Manav Vikas Evam Anusandhan Samiti (R), which was established in 1996.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa.

It is also recognized & approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal to offer B.Ed. course.

The college aim was committed to helping all students with a desire to excel in their pursuit of the acquisition of new skills and specialized knowledge necessary to emerge as the super achiever of the 21st century to make the nation great.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the semi-urban part of Singrauli played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college offers two years intermediate courses in Science streams with various specializations under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Bhopal.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, and Science streams with various specializations under Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa.

The college also offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
