B.V.V. Sangha's Shri S.R. Kanthi Arts, Commerce & Science College, Bagalkot was established in 1982 under the management of Basaveshwar Vidya Vardhak (B.V.V.) Sangha.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

It is affiliated to Rani Channamma University, Belagavi and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.54 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 10th March 2012.

This college is providing higher education to the economically and socially backward students of this area and to fulfill the long felt need of the local students.

The college is located in lovely and picturesque surroundings for promoting learning and teaching courses leading to offers Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science and Commerce streams.

The college has the fortune of highly professional, experienced, well – informed and qualified teachers and devoted administrative staff to impart value based education and train them to face the challenges of the competitive world. The college has launched PG programs both in M.A. in English and Commerce from the academic year 2012-13.
