College was established in June 1970 named as Shri Muktananad Arts, Commerce & Science College.

The college was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Late Shri Muktananad Swami in the presence of Late Balasaheb Pawar (MP).

The college imparts education in Arts, Commerce, Science, MCVC, Management Science & Interdisciplinary streams from 10+2 to Under Graduate & Post Graduate level.

Initially college started with 150 students and with few teaching & Non-Teaching Staff members.

Presently the strength of college students is 3500 with 50 teaching and 23 non-teaching staff members.
