Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’ Shri Bapusaheb D.D. Vispute College of Education, New Panvel (Dist. Raigad) was popularly known as Shri Bapusaheb D.D. Vispute college of Education, New Panvel (Dist. Raigad) is a co-educational college established on 24th August 2004 governed by Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Panvel, Navi Mumbai.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
 
The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai, Mumbai and it is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal for B.Ed in 2004 and the M.Ed course in 2009.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.10 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 3rd March 2015.

Shri Bapusaheb D.D. Vispute College of Education has set up with the goal of ‘Preparation of effective secondary & higher secondary teachers, who are capable of responding to the changing needs and challenges of contemporary Indian Society.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. The institute also has Yashvantrao Chavan Maharastra Open University (YCMOU), Nasik study centre from 2008 as an extension activity to offer Add-On courses.
