Its affiliated to Kurukshetra University.

It has been established by Chanderwati Educational and Charitable Trust that also runs a premier engineering Institute-SBIT, in Sonepat, Haryana.

SBIM is part of SB Group, is a fully residential premier Business School in the area of management education. SBIM is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

SBIM has been established to provide global exposure to management students.
