Shri Balaji College of Education For Women, Madurai was established in 2005.

Its managed by the Annai Meeenakshi Educational & Charitable trust to commemorate Thiru.E.M.Gopalakrishna kone of Madurai, a Philanthropist who started the Sri Gopalakrishna high school and E.M.Gopalakrishna kone yadava women’s college & in order to impart education for all and for women in particular.

The founder constructed a hospital and donated the hospital to the poor people. It shows that the founder wanted to make India as a Healthy & Wealthy nation by providing women education and good Health. The Trust was registered with registrar of Trust in 2005.

The Managing Trustee & Chairman of the Trust is Mr.S.Muthukrishnan & Mr.R.Sankaran as they have dedicated themselves for the development and promotion of the Trust.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Shri Balaji College of Education for Women in its various departments.
