Shree G.K. & C.K. Bosamia Arts & Commerce College, Jetpur was established on 1st June 1972 with the blessings of Rev. Shri Dongreji Maharaj and the chief donors Shri Gordhandas Karsanji Bosamia and Shri Chunilal Karsanji Bosamia has lighted the lamp of knowledge.

It is one of the premier institutions established under the aegis of Shri Jetpur Kelavni Mandal Trust to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (CGPA Score 3.01 on a 4 Point Scale) on 5th May 2014.

Growing from the small seed, it has today become a big bushy tree. It has been providing education to Jetpur and other rural areas around the city. In future also, it will go on developing.

The trust provided vast area and a grand building with different facilities that are necessary and appropriate for an educational institute. Many people received education and carved out career themselves from this college.

A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college

This is the oldest college of the city of Jetpur which is famous for its textile printing and dyeing industries

The course of Home Science is also offered to the female students, So that they may live a better and more fruitful life. The computer is taught independently as a subject in B.Com and M.Com
