Sheikhul Alam Memorial Degree College is one of the leading degree colleges of district Budgam.

At the moment students are offerd courses in various Arts subjects along with computer applications and applied mathamatics and the college hopes to offer its students science streams in the near future.

The department of Physical Education is well equiped to train its young boys and girls in various sports and sports related activities.
