Shanti Niketan College of Education, Srinagar was established in 2002.

It is named after the world renowned institution, established by the great poet of India Rabinder Nath Tagore.

The College has been granted permission by J&K Govt. and is affiliated to the University of Kashmir.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
