Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Technology (SVBIT), Gandhinagar was established in 2009.

The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University.

SVBIT, with a view to provide opportunity to the aspirants, especially in Gujarat for their training in technical education and to provide consultancy and testing facilities to the industries / organizations located in this area and to join hands with Govt. of India in generation of technical man power.

For the accomplishment of this noble task, the college has been making consistent efforts with the help of innovative and committed faculty, technical and non-technical staff members and the students for the growth and progress.

The college provides an environment which is not only pollution free but is also immensely suited for the holistic growth and the development of the students.
