School of Computer and Systems Sciences - Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi is a constituent school of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi was established in 1974 and managed by University Committee.
The School is one of the premier institutes that started MCA and M.Tech programmes in Computer Science in the country.
The institute is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is also recognized and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The aim of the institute is to giving academic excellence, opportunity and connections combine dynamically to help the student discover their potential and succeed in today’s global business scenario.
It is co-educational State Govt. institute, providing a regular course which is located in an urban part of Delhi played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The school has been received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular at affiliating University.
The school offers 3 years full-time Post Graduate courses in Master of Computer Application (M.C.A) programme, Two years Master in Technology (M.Tech.) with various specialization under the affiliating University.
These courses are designed to provide the necessary theoretical background and practical experience in Computer Science and Applications, to meet the growing manpower requirements of the Global Software & hardware Industry.
At present, the school offers Post Graduate Diploma courses in management specializations and also offers the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), a doctoral programme. The Fellowship is considered to be equivalent to Ph.D. globally.
The school has a strong International Exchange Program for students and faculty with several leading Management Institutes in EU and ASEAN countries and so on.
The school has its also own selection process unlike other colleges under affiliating University.

Admissions here done are based on the merit obtained by the aspirants with the minimum aggregate of 50% in their previous courses in the relevant field.
