Sarvajanik Education Society M.T.B Arts College, Surat was established in 1918.

as the Sarvajanik College. It is the oldest collage of South Gujarat and one of the best colleges with ‘A’ grade accreditation by NAAC (2007-2012).

The college was granted affiliation for the subjects of arts faculty by the Bombay University.

The college commit to change with time, keeping the core values steadfast and to produce globally competitive knowledge workers.

The aim of the college is to disseminate knowledge in society at large and to promote socioeconomic and cultural development by means of extension services.

The vision/mission of the college is to enable all the classes of society to have the privilege of higher education by marking quality education easily accessible to the common people beyond the barriers of caste and class as well as inequalities based on birth and other circumstances and to contribute actively in the efforts of humanity to emerge from the darkness of civilization and cultural journey by progression of knowledge and advancement of learning.
