Sandhu Institute of Nursing (SIN), Nawanshahr was established in 2003 in the building of Sandhu Eye Hospital Banga with the first batch of 60 students.

The institute is recognized by Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC) and it is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
