Inaugurated in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister, the Late Hon. Margaret Thatcher, SPJIMR’s mission is to Influence Practice and Promote Value-based Growth. More than 1200 participants from diverse backgrounds are enrolled at any given time across a range of management programmes at SPJIMR.

SPJIMR has been awarded accreditation by the prestigious AACSB International -The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The PGDM, PGPM, FPM and PGP-GM programmes are approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

PGDM, PGPM, PGEMP, PGPGM, PGPFMB and PGPDM are accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), UK. The PGDM programme is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
