Shikshan Vikas Mandal's S. H. Kelkar College of Arts, Commerce and Science was established in 1974.

Shri S.H.Kelkar college of Arts, Commerce & Science and S.K.Pant Walawalkar college of Education both affiliated to University of Mumbai- is indeed a testimony of a truly materialized dream of Shikshan Vikas Mandal, Devgad, a parent body, which started its mission of higher education in Devgad- a remote and educationally backward, hilly region.

The college is constituents, and a family of some 2000 students taking education at junior, senior-under graduate and post graduate levels in Arts, Commerce and Science disciplines with 80 staff members.

The main aim of the college to cause of empowerment of rural youth through access to education, particularly higher education, enabling them to develop as intellectually alive, socially responsible citizens ever ready for continuous personal and professional growth to inculcate social, moral and spiritual values.
