S.D. (P.G) College, Panipat was established in 1968.

Its affiliated to Kurukshetra University.

by Ch. Bansi Lal, the then Chief Minister of Haryana, a premier centre of higher learning, giving education upto the PG level with emphasis on all-round development of students.

The college is governed by S.D. Education Society (Regd.) Panipat, which also runs in the town six more educational institutions, all having pre-eminent position in their respective sspheres.

The main aim of the college is to groom students into perfect human beings who are capable of facing the challenges of the modern world.
