S.B. Institute of Engineering and Technology (SBIET), Haryana was established in 2008.

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and approved by All Indai council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The institution is managed by Shri Balaji Educational Trust, Pundri. It is evident from the other educational institutions established by the Management, namely L.R. Group of Institutions, Solan (H.P.) and R.N. Shemford School, Fatehpur-Pundri (Kaithal).

This institute is well equipped with appropriate laboratories and workshops for students to acquire the required skill standards in their respective fields. Qualified, energetic and well-experienced faculty is determined to disseminate knowledge in their respective fields.

SBIET is situated at Dhand Road, village Fatehpur-Pundri, distt. Kaithal. It is located at a distance of 2 Kms. from Pehowa Chowk at Pundri to Dhand road. Just 35 Kms. from the IIIrd gate of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, SBIET is well connected by road with Kaithal and Karnal.
