S.A.S College of Education, Tiruchy was established in 2001. Its affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.

SAS college of education (B.Ed)was established 2008 under the management of S.A.S Trust was found by Mr.A.Sebastin B.Sc.,B.Ed as Chairman and its managing trustee with a view to provide and promote Teacher education in rural and economically backward students.The main intension of starting this college of Education was provide quality Teacher Education to aspiring graduates to serve the society through teaching. The college provides quality teacher education and produces highly enlightened and dedicated teachers to cater the demand of aspiring teachers. The college offers one year B.Ed (Non – Semester ) Degree programme for both men and women (Co-Education).

The Objective of the Trust is to promote education and culture by establishing and managing educational institutions like schools, colleges, Teacher Training institute etc and to involve in all the activities that are necessary for the establishment, management and promotion of such institutions.
