S.A.R.B.T.M. Govt. College, Kozhikode was established in 1975.

S.A.R.B.T.M. Govt. College is affiliated to University of Calicut.

The college is located in a remote rural area about 7 km to the north-east of Koyilandy town in Kerala. Admission of students is made purely on the basis of merit and the Govt. rules are strictly followed with regard to reservation of quota for different categories like SC, ST, OBC and physically handicapped.

The mission of the college is to impart quality education to marginalized students and bring about their integrated development to achieve economic upliftment, social harmony and gender equality.

The college has a lovely campus in a sylvan settling with the Akalapuzha river running close by on the eastern side. The area is about 18 acres.

There is a multi-storied main building which has 33 classrooms and the administrative office. At under graduate level the college offers BA, BSc. and BCom. courses. MCom. course is provided at post graduate level.
