Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) was established in 1999, it is a distinguished educational institution with a track record of accreditation and approval from recognised bodies. It holds approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and Approval from the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Chattisgarh. Rungta College encompasses a conglomerate of educational institutions in Bhilai, Chattisgarh, India. This group has one privately owned Engineering College, two Pharmacy Colleges, and an established Commerce and Science College. Over time, this educational institute has expanded from its initial single college to include four diverse institutions, offering a broad spectrum of programs in Engineering, Pharmacy, Commerce, Management and Education with a campus size of over 150 acres, providing ample space for academic pursuits and growth.

The college offers Diploma, Undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines, such as engineering, pharmacy, management, computer applications, education and commerce.
