Ravindra Kishore Shahi Govt. Degree College, Deoria was established in 1999.

This college is affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.

The Institute always strived to and successfully maintained their place as one of the finest within the University of Gorakhpur.

The College believes in providing for their students an environment rich in knowledge and supportive of their extracurricular interests.

The College established with the objective of promoting and facilitating studies, research and extension work with a focus on professional education in emerging areas of higher education has traversed the rocky way in shouldering their responsibility by identifying, designing and implementing professional courses for grooming the students to take up challenging assignments in diverse types of organizations.

No country can think of attaining a place of prosperity, happiness and peace with honour and dignity in the comity of nations without adequate investment in building up human infrastructure including education.

The College is also equally valid that the process of building human infrastructure especially education cannot be given a big push forward by relying solely on government funding and effort.
