Ramgarhia Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET), Phagwara was established in 2003.

The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, approved by Punjab State Government and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

RIET CAMPUS, Phagwara is located in the heart of Doaba region of Punjab, on the main Railway line. The Institute is situated at a distance of about 1 Km. both from the Railway Station and Bus Stand. It comprises of 30 acres of lush-green land surrounded by green fields all over providing pollution-free environment best suited for learning. The campus is on the national highway, where the conveyance is available for 24×7. It is very much approachable from Airport (Amritsar-116 Km, Adampur-32 Km and Ludhiana-51 Km)
